Today is my third day in Israel. On Saturday my Sea to Sea trek, from the Mediterranean Sea to the Sea of Galilee begins. It should take four days. With that thought in mind I have been hiking about and exploring Northern Israel to acclimate myself to the land. I have had beautiful sunshine and pouring rains, but one thing is obvious: The nature of Israel is far different than the Israel portrayed on the evening news. The land is beautiful, peaceful and friendly, and a nature lover's delight.
